PRODUCT - The U-post support for dowelling is ideal for various timber construction projects such as fencing, decking, and general garden construction. It is specifically designed for timber constructions up to 1.50 m in height, ensuring a sturdy and reliable base.
FEATURES - Installation of the Post Support Shoe Screw Mount is easy, as the U Shape Post Support is dowelled or screwed into place via the 4 pre-drilled holes in the foundation. The wooden post is securely mounted through 2 holes in each of the 200 mm high side brackets using fixing screws, making it perfect for durable timber connections.
USABILITY - It’s essential that the post does not rest on the base of the U-post support for screw-on, as moisture can penetrate the wood and cause long-term damage. This design ensures proper ventilation, keeping the wood dry and protected.
VERSATILITY - The Anchor Post U is available in multiple fork widths: 71 mm, 81 mm, 91 mm, 101 mm, 111 mm, 116 mm, 121 mm, and 141 mm, making it adaptable to different timber sizes. The U Post Support is hot-dip galvanised, offering excellent protection against external weather influences, ensuring long-lasting durability.
